I had a very enjoyable shave with my Kampfe Brothers Star razor on my bullet casing handle today. Oddly I got better results when the shave angle was VERY steep. More experimentation needed. The little bit of irritation I did get was during the initial shallow angle first pass. That irritation quickly dissipated. However I started thinking how I usually get little to no irritation on the back of my neck which is almost exclusively steep angles. So I finished the rest of the shave with an almost 90 degree blade angle. This resulted in a very close comfortable shave. I'm sure steep angle shaving isn't right for everyone. But today with this razor that's what worked best for me.

30/01/2020 Pre: Pears Transparent Original Brush: Yaqi Moka Express Soap: OSP Neroli Razor: Ever Ready 1924 "Shovel-head" Blade: GEM PTFE S/S (5) Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Tonyschin's Neroli & Orange Astringent Balm: Tonyschin's Neroli & Orange Argan Oil Lotion / Barts Balm Cinnamon & Patchouli Balm Aftershave: OSP Neroli Simply Wonderful. A great lather mixed up with the Yaqi Synth and the OSP, this little 24mm knot punches well above its weight, working really well either in the bowl or on the face, it has just enough scritch for me. 2 passes & a Search and Destroy pass to clean up - no pressure required. A great audio soundtrack from this razor especially ATG. I had a massive smile on my face during the shave. Feeling and smelling really good after a very nice post shave routine. Enjoy your day All.

SOTD 30 Jan 2020 -- TNNSER-3D ThursdaySpoiler alert, this razor will be entered into my short list of "Razor Loves" at the Valentine Razor thread. I've already got one listed, but as we can have more than one Razor Love, the TNNSER-3D is most definitely on my list! While I love the look of this razor, what puts it over the top for me are the shaves that I get. Today was a 3-pass shave with dolphin-like results on my face....and even more importantly to me: no blood, no nicks, no irritation, not even a hint of sensitivity post-shave....just smoothness. The brush (Yaqi Barbershop 24mm 2-Band Badger) and soap (RazoRock Black Label) were also top performers....both were from a reciprocal PIF (aka "a trade"), and both also performed flawlessly. Great day in ye ol' shave cave!
