I had a very enjoyable cold water shave today. I went with two razors, an unmentionable and the TNNSER 3D using a 3rd use Meijer SS blade. Both razors performed very well. Sterling pharaohs dreamsicle on a RazoRock Bruce lathered quite well even with cold water. All in all a great shave especially with the audio feedback of these two razors.

Maseto 24mm 2BB - TOBS Organic Shaving Cream - Supply V1/Proline B - Florida Water
I bought this razor some time back and just could not get a decent shave so it was relegated to the back of the SE drawer. My requirements have changed somewhat and I have been spending time perfecting my shaves with milder razors. It took the full 3 passes but today's results were excellent. I will certainly be using this one again!
Pre: Pears Transparent Original Brush: Vintage Vulfix Service #3 1950 Soap: Body Shop / Palmolive Super-lather Razor: Supply V2 - Plate #2 Blade: Personna (8) Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Tonyschin's Neroli & Orange Astringent Balm: Tonyschin's Neroli & Orange Argan Oil Aftershave: Mäurer & Wirtz 4711 EDC
Its been a while since i used the super-lather, it works very well. I had about 5mm Maca root left in the tub so cut 2 Sticks up and pressed them into the Cream. It lathers brilliantly. A very nice Sunday Morning shave setting me up for the day ahead. Enjoy your Sunday All

The Clan of Catchers - The Jayaruh Brushes - Williams Mug Shave Soap Club Nil Desperandum Auspice Deo
I've been shaving with twhite 's unmentionable this week, but Sunday is for lather catchers. The CTAPT Shaving Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #340 badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with the C.V. Heljestrand Lather Catcher razor with a C.V. Heljestrand Wedge blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Cella ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Yesterday's and today shaves both went very well. I dis a cold water/lather shave both days. While I love the luxurious lather of a hot water shave I seem to be getting better results from the cold water. One definite advantage is the lather isn't drying out on me with the cold water shaves.
I love the J.A. Henkles Rapide razor. The handle is fantastic both in length and grip. And the razor shaves great. The Pal adjustable is a really good shaver and the handle is a great length for me. However the low amount of grip is a bit disappointing. I have thought about modifying the handle to add some grip.
9nein9: To like or not to like the like button? That is the question. Our society thrives off the like button it seems . I'm not sure if I like it or I don't like it.Just kind of got used to it .

carlfrommo: Hey guys. Last minute question here. What shot size should I use for flying reindeer?
Dec 24, 2019 22:11:29 GMT -6
ordinaryshaver: You want to use 3 1/2 in magnum lead shot, in size T. Problem solved.

ordinaryshaver: No steel, too light and use an extra full choke, unless you have a good blind setup

carlfrommo: Well, last night was a failure. I had one shot, and I didn't lead the red-nosed one enough. I think I ended up shooting the driver. Might have gotten him in the leg. Hard to tell because he was wearing red pants and coat.

carlfrommo: He turned his sled away and landed on the roof two blocks down. Out of range for a second shot. I did notice he walked with a bit of a limp though. He shouldn't be coming in my yard anyway.

mrconklin: Last time I hunted waterfowl. 2 3/4 shells were standard and the cool kids were starting to play with the 3 inch, but most guns weren't made for them. Steel was also just starting to be mandated on Federal and State land.
