I'll need to reread Heinlein to finally master the Art of waiting faster.
Still no H1 shipped to good old Germany.
Yes I know it's literally the other side of the globe. Amazing enough that you scattered all other this globe can read what I typed in my small home office while watching a guy on the this other side of the globe shave with an unmentionable.

It has arrived!
Razor does not seem to have been used often. There was even the copper blank in the case.
Cleaned up well.
Box is only beautiful from the outside, but, well I have it.
Did not trust to use the blades that came with it, so I opened a NOS Schick plus platinum pack and loaded a blade.
Looking forward to tomorrow's shave...
Thanks again to Andreas for pointing me to the auction.

Indeed a fine shave.
Still very little stubble.
The razor is really totally different to any other razor i ever used. Looking at it I thought it would be hard to find the correct grip.
Picking it up is a shock, with the top cap it's seriously heavy. without the cap it feels just right though.
During the shave I just shaved. No clue how I held it and about the angle, I just tried to keep it flat on the face. Worked really nice.
Now my biggest fear is that my girlfriend is going to claim it.
Worst case I need two more user grade H1s.
She is coming over for the weekend tomorrow, I'll see what happens when she spots it.
I had her try my other yellow Lady Everscharp, she found it worked fine but prefers her Lady Unmentionable. (Fuzzy was here)

Leg shaving requires a long handle, which the H1 certainly doesn't have. Some marketing genius at Eversharp thought that ladies would like a razor they can keep in their handbags - the H1. No, they don't. Glad you like it. If you want another one, keep an eye on ebay France. That's where I found mine. Patience required.

That whole Ladies Fashion Razor thing was an attempt to market a razor by Eversharp without the Schick branding. Men were not even looking at Eversharp razors, they were already loving Schicks!
There is nothing in the Hussy's design that says "Ladies"
1: It's somewhat aggressive 2: No long handle. Women need the long handle to reach ankles easily.
But this one fits in a man's pocket when traveling. And I agree, it's one of my favs.
My Dad got my Mother one, the sameday he picked up his new Hydro-magic in 1952. My Mom hated it and sneak used Dad's I2!! Lol.
Dad would come frustrated out of the shave cave saying, "If you're going to use my razor, tell me or change the blade at least...." LMAO🤣😂😂🤣.
YEARS later as an adult, I saw that H1 when Mom and Dad were moving. Mom had only used it once 30 years before. I asked hrr if it was any good, she said, no handle..she didn't like it. So I never tried it. In my ignorance, I allowed them to toss a brand new, 30 year old, boxed Hussy in the trash! Ahh ignorance is bliss,😁😉
Now fast forward another 30 years and it's one of MY all time favorites! Life is stranger than fiction!

Only if I obtain a really big shed or other storage first.
Still keeping way too much stuff as it is.
Does not look like I can find the time to do it but i need to get rid of my Gold Rabbit Mk1 gti and also of my sheet metal Vespa scooters. No time to restore them and what is much worse, if they were restored, I no longer would like to use them.
