Pre: Sainsbury's Luxury Soap, Bergamot & Nectarine Brush: JR #291 Tuxedo Soap: Arran Machrie Razor: Colonial General V2 Stainless Blade: Feather PB (4) Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Witch Hazel Balm: Arran Machrie Aftershave: Arran Machrie
A bit of a late post today as i am having a lazy day off as its the start of a weeks holiday. I used the Arran Soap Co. Machrie today and i really enjoyed it, therefore, for the rest this week Both Lochranza & Machrie sets will be used. The JR Tuxedo #291 made short work of the soap producing a lovely slick lather, it has a good strong backbone and feel to it. The General delivers a brilliant shave every time paired with the Feather. The soap has a great post shave feeling for me and the lightly scented balm and aftershave finished off the shave. Enjoy your weekend All

My first ever use of Martin de Candre .... and very nice it was. I can't believe how little was needed to load the brush and how much lather was produced. The Injectomatic preformed flawlessly and the resulting shave would be difficult to better. It was a great Sunday morning shave.
Cold Water Rinse Vintage Life's Morning TOST Oscar11 synthetic 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher Vintage GEM Cutlery CWS PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm
The Vintage Life's Morning TOST Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Oscar11 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher with a Vintage GEM Cutlery SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
9nein9: To like or not to like the like button? That is the question. Our society thrives off the like button it seems . I'm not sure if I like it or I don't like it.Just kind of got used to it .

carlfrommo: Hey guys. Last minute question here. What shot size should I use for flying reindeer?
Dec 24, 2019 22:11:29 GMT -6
ordinaryshaver: You want to use 3 1/2 in magnum lead shot, in size T. Problem solved.

ordinaryshaver: No steel, too light and use an extra full choke, unless you have a good blind setup

carlfrommo: Well, last night was a failure. I had one shot, and I didn't lead the red-nosed one enough. I think I ended up shooting the driver. Might have gotten him in the leg. Hard to tell because he was wearing red pants and coat.

carlfrommo: He turned his sled away and landed on the roof two blocks down. Out of range for a second shot. I did notice he walked with a bit of a limp though. He shouldn't be coming in my yard anyway.

mrconklin: Last time I hunted waterfowl. 2 3/4 shells were standard and the cool kids were starting to play with the 3 inch, but most guns weren't made for them. Steel was also just starting to be mandated on Federal and State land.
