15/02/20 Pre: Sainsbury's Luxury Soap, Bergamot & Nectarine Brush: JR #291 Tuxedo Soap: Arran Machrie Razor: Colonial General V2 Stainless Blade: Feather PB (4) Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Witch Hazel Balm: Arran Machrie Aftershave: Arran Machrie A bit of a late post today as i am having a lazy day off as its the start of a weeks holiday. I used the Arran Soap Co. Machrie today and i really enjoyed it, therefore, for the rest this week Both Lochranza & Machrie sets will be used. The JR Tuxedo #291 made short work of the soap producing a lovely slick lather, it has a good strong backbone and feel to it. The General delivers a brilliant shave every time paired with the Feather. The soap has a great post shave feeling for me and the lightly scented balm and aftershave finished off the shave. Enjoy your weekend All

Sunday 16th February Simpson Chubby 2 Synthetic - MdC Vetyver - PAL Injectomatic/Personna -Monotheme Vetiver Bourbon My first ever use of Martin de Candre .... and very nice it was. I can't believe how little was needed to load the brush and how much lather was produced. The Injectomatic preformed flawlessly and the resulting shave would be difficult to better. It was a great Sunday morning shave.

Lather Catcher Sunday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Vintage Life's Morning TOST Oscar11 synthetic 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher Vintage GEM Cutlery CWS PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm The Vintage Life's Morning TOST Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Oscar11 synthetic brush. Two passes and touch ups with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher with a Vintage GEM Cutlery SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

That Personna floating head razor has been on my radar for a long time. One day... It is a mild razor. I had 3 days to deal with. Pass 1 was only mediocre. Pass 2 and 3 were much better. Zero irritation and a nice CCS. This is best for me on 1 to 1-1/2 days growth. It really shines there.
