Tuesday 3rd March Frank Shaving 28mm G4 - Le Pére Lucien Cologne Fougere - GEM Featherweight/GEM Blue Star - 4711 Cologne A great result ....but not an enjoyable shave. I wasn't happy with my new FS G4 Brush. It has a large glue bump and is not as comfortable to use as just about any other synthetic I own. I was also using a Gem Blue Star for the first time and it felt VERY rough compared to the more commonly available Stainless blades. There was also too much reaction to the 4711. Sorry to hear you had an unpleasant shave.

Today I used my first shick injector. I have used the hussy though. I tried out my Schick g with a new injector blade, paa aloha smackdown soap and aftershave and my horse hair brush. Fantastic shave. The razor was very efficient but not uncomfortable. The horsehair brush was on it's fourth shave I believe. I've been using deodorizing pet shampoo on it. It almost totally lost its animal smell. I came out bbs no irritation. www.flickr.com/photos/187068272@N03/albums/72157713362632886
