25/032/2020 Pre: Hot shower Brush: Vintage Butterscotch Culmak Plus 1950 Soap: Lea Stick Razor: Supply V2 Custom plate #2 Blade: Personna (11) Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Witch Hazel Balm: Barts Balm Grapefruit & Pink Pepper Balm & Lotion Aftershave: Williams Aqua Velva Original Today i face lathered straight from the stick, basically reloading for each pass, it worked really well and i had a nice covering for each pass. if i continued with this, the stick would last forever. The scent is very very light on this stick so much so i did not really get anything from the lather, saying that it performed really well. I really like this razor and it is very easy to use, i find plate #2 is just right for me, 3 passes today for a BBS finish. The blade just starting to give some indications it could go any minute towards the end, therefore it has been "banked" its just not worth trying for more shaves, i normally stop at 10 with these Personna's and i will stick with that from now on unless of course i get indications earlier. Maybe 1 more use left in the Barts Balm sample bottle , i have plenty though. Stay Safe all and enjoy your day.

Today I used my new superior lather catcher. It's much more aggressive and uses a different angle from my gem bar. The blade sits a bit further back from the guard on the superior but has a larger blade gap. It's Williams Wednesday of course and I used grey flannel aftershave along with a new CVS blade. Bbs no irritation I did Nick myself under the nose though. The superior is on the right. www.flickr.com/photos/187068272@N03/49699354721/in/album-72157713626940018/

26/03/2020 Pre: Sainsbury's Luxury Soap, Bergamot & Nectarine Brush: Yaqi Sagrada Familia 24mm Soap: La Toja stick Razor: Pal Injector Blade: PAL (3) Post shave: Alum Block, cold water splash, Witch Hazel Balm: Barts Balm Grapefruit & Pink Pepper Balm & Lotion Aftershave: Proraso Green I used the same lather technique as yesterday with the La Toga stick, the scent is light on this one for me, a clean scent and nice enough, a great face lather giving plenty for the shave, again, this technique leaves no waste and the stick will last and age. The lather was nice and slick. 2 passes WTG & XTG and some light ATG buffing for a DFS finish, i actually thought i had achieved a BBS, then found a small sandpapery spot on my LH top lip, Hey Ho, there are more pressing things to worry about. The Barts Balm Grapefruit & Pink Pepper Balm is now gone and i have a little bit of the lotion left, "all good things" and all that. To finish i was going to go for some Proraso Red splash and then changed to the Green at the last minute, why, well why not. Very nice. Stay safe and enjoy your day All.
