I try to live by my dads words. Believe half of what you see and nothing of what you hear. When researching the truth lays someplace in between. I do highly recommend doing your own research from many sources. As we know EVERYBODY I mean EVERYBODY has their own biases and beliefs. This is what makes America the best country on earth. We are free to believe and express our beliefs and opinions. Now for a bit of my own bias. The freedom of speech is under extreme attack right now so is 2A ( that is another subject) You must not silence those whom you disagree with. It is the hardest thing to look in a mirror and really confront what you hold true. The person on the other extreme holds these same beliefs. Please respect others beliefs. You do not have to agree. Silencing others because you do not agree is not the answer. Think how you will feel when the shoe is on the other foot. Life is really simple Good thoughts Good words Good deeds Worth quoting again.

Well..... no matter what citizens may argue about.....I work in a lab in one of the worst hit areas in Wales. We have to social distance.....so during my tea and lunch breaks....I have to watch 'private ambulances' (with the crew in full protective gear) arrive to remove bodies for storage in a recommissioned ice rink. I feel quite cross when I realise that I am risking my life for a group of tossers who won't follow lock down rules

I have not been on much lately. With the enhanced security at the plant I have been staying busy. We have been lucky and not a single case has been reported there. I like how this thread has been handled. I have bumped heads with people in this thread , and I am sure to again. Thanks to everyone for keeping it civil. A special thanks to twhite for watching and commenting. A little side note. Anyone that went poof did so at their own request. We do not hammer people because they think different here at TOST.

I was a bit shocked of the poof. Reading through the replies I did not see any grievous exchanges. VERY passionate reply’s from opposing views. I appreciate all the views posted. I obviously do not agree with some. But, it does sometimes make me reevaluate my thinking. When that happens. I do my own research. To all. DO NOT take what any Media feeds you as gospel. They all have their own agenda. Still no Covid cases at any of our US facilities. That is several thousand people all told. The company was very proactive from the very beginning. Draw from that what you may, both tidbits. Enjoy your shaves.

Wow. I didn't think anyone would get so upset. That's too bad.

Yeah, I saw nothing that would warrant it either TWhite. But everyone sees what they want to and many folks can't defend their positions or simply find it not worth the effort? IDK. But after the dust settles this is shaving forum, and mostly gentlemen. Sometimes I wonder about myself and need to just keep myself away from the keyboard to remain a gentleman. I'm sure most of us are similar in that. After all, it's what makes us gentlemen.

Some people are just too sensitive I guess, if somebody criticizes them or disagrees with them, instead of trying to defend their position they take it personally, pick up their toys and run home. That's the way it always is

That's the way it always is Life is too short to argue with folks if you assess based on experience with them your arguments won't be taken seriously, rejected as fake news because of the source, and so on. Personally I'm perfectly capable of defending my particular point of view but I'm here to discuss razors. I left one forum because the mods decided to censor one side of this debate for getting "political" while allowing the other side leeway, I have no intention of pushing my luck here.

We have opinions, we exchange them, that's called "conversation". Even if the talk is restricted to razors, we all have our differences, our personal opinions, that is why we have forums, so that we can share our differences. If we were all the same we wouldn't be here. Debate is healthy and sometimes educational.
