1912 Squat head x 2. Unfortunately I realize the curve top one isn't functioning properly, the tab in the cap moves freely when the cap is closed so the blade can jump. Flat top fine enough.

So I had 2 ER visits today. Early shave late posting. Yep that's right I used 2 Ever-Ready 1912s today. A British Peerless and an American with chain link handle. Unfortunately I am out of SS blades. I thought I had another 10 pack of them. Luckily I had a Pal carbon blade and I have a few Treet Carbons left that Flintstone gave me. I'm not a huge fan of the carbon blades but it better than nothing. Oddly the British ER seemed milder than the American. Which os the opposite of what I've heard. I am going to have to take a closer look at both razors. Maybe some adjustments are needed. Anyway overall a good shave. I will have to revisit this comparison shave at a later date.

With a blade in the razor, the tab doesn't touch the cap anyway, take the cap off and then install a blade so you can see how firmly it holds a blade, it may be fine other than rattling when empty. .

Nope, the blade easily moves when any force is applied.

Nope, the blade easily moves when any force is applied. Don't you have another '12 that needs a cap, and it does hold the blade?

Razorock ECO, Razorock Unnamed soap- a new soap base for trial, Razorock 506 brush, Clubman Special Reserve!! This new soap is wonderful, has a very light scent, purposely to mask soap scent and be pleasant. Easy to lather, lots of cushion and very slick-I like it. I don't know if it will be put in production by Joe, but I would think it will, plus they have some very capable people making their scents.
