Hear hear. I can make Williams give as good a shave as any other soap I use. That's technique. And a rant for a different thread.
I do love this travel brush. As I said it is the same knot as the Gulliver brush. I like a smaller boar.

Working on breaking this one in with more Williams test lathers. Seems like it is going to be a pretty good little brush. I will get some more pics soon.

With Krissy making a Williams clone that works like vintage Williams (Walter is its name) maybe todays Williams will be a thing of the past. I haven't used her soaps yet, but we've corresponded quite a bit and I bet she knows her craft.
In truth I have so much ARKO, that I'll never miss Williams.

But there is not such thing as replacing my Williams. I do love ARKO too. One of my favorite shave sticks. You should try out her soaps. They are great. I am looking forward to trying out Walter too

Well I think I can eat my words now on the Williams comment..... considering I've just created what I'm waiting to see if a faux vintage williams shaving soap.....
I sent out two samples and a guy on another forum (also from ND) sent me some vintage williams, so that should be here tomorrow I hope. He got mine today so I should know more tomorrow about the lather.
Great write up on the brush Brian. I'm afraid I just blew my petty cash on fountain pens for me and two of the kids, so now it's time to start saving again for a new brush.!!!!
