Just going to chime in here in regards to CI stuff. I've always used it for camping and after a cheapo Dutch Oven blew out on me I was in the market for another. Possum gided me on what to look for and how to find it. He has been involved with CI for many years and is extremely knowledgable on the subject. It's one of his passions. If you have questions he is a great resource. Alan (Now, if we could only teach him how to use a fine piece of precision equipment.)Alan, Thanks for the props on being a CI cookware expert. I have been collecting for about 4 yrs actually but I have sources at a CI collectors forum that is used by guys and gals who have been collecting for some over 50 years. Many of them have forgotten as much about CI cookware as I have learned in the last 4 years. Nice thing about the site and its members (I am one) is that they are just like the shaving forum folks, always ready and willing to help the newbie as well as the expert when it comes to identifying the vintage stuff and how to restore, use and care for vintage CI cookware. As for that fine piece of precision equipment I need not lessons as that is all that I use. Notice that I do not use the GEM Micro"Junk"omatic as that item can't even be classed as being better than a sharp piece of rock let alone a precision shaving implement.
