I guess StJeff was up too late last nite watching his St Louis Cardinals run roughshod over the SF Giants in game 1 of the NLCS. So I will get this thread started. You can add to it as you please.

Razor: GEM Cutlery Damaskeene Brush: VDH Boar Soap: Clearly Natural Glycerine Post: Pinaud Clubman
Off today, almost skipped shaving and give my face a rest but decided to use something else.
Been quite a while since the last Dammy run, needed a lot more strokes to get smooth...It felt less efficient yet easier on the skin than the Streamline which is what I was looking for today. My old VDH Boar performed like a champion as always, but damn it's bristles sure are getting raggety.

Tuesday 10/16
Razor: Schick Injector E2 Blade: Personna or NOS Schick Brush: TGN synthetic in cheapo handle Lather: Lord Emofresh Post: Alum, Lucido, Clarins Soother
Results: New blade in the injector. I'm not sure if it was the last NOS blade in the cartridge or a "reload" Personna. BBS shave in any case, with a couple of small nicks. I'm down to the last couple of shaves worth of Emofresh... must find a good price on a new tube.

Tuesday 16th October 2012 Prep: Shower Razor: PAL Injectomatic Blade: Personna Stainless Coated Brush: Unknown tiny travel boar Soap: Palmolive Stick Aftershave: Nivea Cream
Spent the night away so shaved with my travel kit, my friends house has a water softener fitted, what a difference to the lather this makes, my tiny little travel brush still made enough for two passes. I had to re- load the brush for the final pass.
Regards Dick

Greetings
Wednesday 17th October 2012 Prep: Shower Razor: Schick Type G(8) Blade: Personna Stainless Coated Brush: Lijun Boar Cream: T.O.B.S. Mr. Taylor Aftershave: Wilkinson Sword Sensitive Balm
My first shave with a Schick G type, I certainly found this razor milder than the type E but it still had enough bite (aided by my ineptness) to put a nick into the large mole I have on my left cheek! Otherwise a really nice shave, I did have one more try with a vintage Schick blade but had to give up and change.
There may not have been many great advances in razors over the years but there certainly has been (IMHO) in blade technology especially in respect of coatings.
Regards Dick.

Razor: Schick Injector E2 Blade: NOS Schick Brush: Semogue 1305 Lather: Lord Emofresh Post: STYPTIC!, Alum, Lucido, Clarins Soother
Results: Replay from yesterday with bloodier results. Very close, mostly BBS shave, but numerous nicks. I'll try a different blade tomorrow. I may switch to a milder razor as well.
