RocketMan,
I did a little moose research. There are 3 sub-species in North America: The "Alaska-Yukon Moose" of Northwest Canada/Yukon, the "Canada Moose" of middle and easter Cananda, and the "Shiras Moose" of the Rocky Mountains. Lots of Mooses! They call Moose "Elk" in Europe/Russia.
SD, I didn't know you can re-use the bags. That puts a whole new spin on it. hehe. Now I'm shoppin'! Thanks for the info.

That Canada Moose - in middle and eastern Canada - that is probably why I figured they were all the same since those are the regions I have been talking about. These days though I am living on the west coast and it is pretty much all rocky mountains this way. I know a fella that goes moose hunting - must be that Shiras beast - or maybe the Alaska-Yukon doods come down this far. I am going to snoop around a bit. Thnx for the info. It is true indeed that you learn something every day!

Yup, reuse 'em. Don't pucture them or they're useless unless you can cut below the puncture and still have a useable bag. Reuse is also a reason I wrap the meat with plastic wrap. It makes washing them pretty easy.

Way to go, John! Glad those preference points paid off for you.

Brian, I'll have to figure the re-use into the bag expense. Also a good idea you had on the double wrap.
TW, best of all it was only a point or two for the cow tag. So you can hunt it every other year or so. Not too shabby!
