Greetings Friday 1st February 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: GEM Contour Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Shaving Factory Medium Boar Cream: Palmolive Soap and Cream + glycerine Aftershave: Floid Balm Bowl lathered just for a change and made some überlather, a very nice shave with what is probably my mildest SE razor, but a lot of touching up required, especially when compared to razors like the OCMM and Clog-Pruf. Regards Dick.

Greetings
Saturday 2nd February 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: GEM Micromatic Clog-pruf Blade: GEM Stainless Coated Brush: Vulfix 406 Boar Cream: Body Shop Maca Root Aftershave: RSC Balm
A good shave that could have been great if I had not been too idle to change the blade when I realised (straight away) it was past it's best!
I do not keep any spare blades or razors in the bathroom, but that is a weak excuse.
Regards Dick.

First shave with Ever Ready Streamline.
I could not wait to test it, so I lather up MWF(even lately is harsh for my skin) and I went for 2 pass shaving (WTG, XTG).
I really enjoyed the shave. Razor gave me great feeling and was fun to shave. Thou soap did not allow me for a perfect shave if I try to achieve BBS it would hurt. Even only with 2 passes I achieved a really good shave, free of irritation:)
I still need to finish the Swedes blades review with 3 different razors but Streamline found place in rotation together with GEM MMCF. Rest to test.
To sum up: I think I will swap totally to SE, depends on outcome of this test.
Soap: MWF Brush: Simpson Duke 2 Best

Jeff, will you please tell me just what your avatar is? It's a vintage blade bank that was given away by Listerine to promote their Listerine Shaving Cream. I think it's from the late '30s - early '40s period. My wife gave it to me for Christmas a couple of years ago. I love the cool Art Deco look of it.

Schick A ASR blade Semogue 1460 boar Clearly Natural Glycerin WH Stetson
Great shave. The clearly natural is a plain jane glycerin soap. I think I will use it as a bath soap. I can get ok shaves out of it but nothing special.

Greetings Sunday 3rd February 2013 Prep: Shower Razor: Schick G8 Injector Blade: Personna Stainless Coated Brush: Burma Shave Boar Cream: RSC Aftershave: RSC Balm A nearly perfect shave. BBS is a term I tend not to use because I think it is just about impossible to achieve (other than with endless touching up leaving your face feeling sore) there is always the tiniest bit of skin somewhere on the face where just a little bit of whisker can be felt if the skin is stroked firmly. Today's shave was as good as it gets! Interesting that it was achieved with all budget items. Both the RSC cream and balm cost a pound. The Burma Shave brush was about £4.00 in the states and I think I paid about a tenner for the Schick injector. Regards Dick
