Haven't used a cream in years. I use tallow soaps and face lather. So here's what I like in no particular order: PannaCrema, Mikes', Speick Stick, P-160, RR- R-160, Haslinger Schafmilch,Pdp(Great for a veg), Mystic,Tabac bowl. I like 'em all. We do live in a great time for shaving soaps. Speaking of which, I think I'll order a Valobra stick. Well off to shave and to figure out which soap to use. Enjoy!

I know what you mean CB. I'm pretty much a soap guy also. Lately though, I've been dabbling in creams just out of curiosity. No favorite yet, still like soaps.

Greetings
I live in a very hard water area of the UK. My number one Soap is Speick stick, I use it grated and in second place for me is Tabac. I then have three or four others I like and use regularly that all tie for third place
My favourite cream is unsurprisingly also Speick but I do prefer soaps.
You will see my views have changed since my original post and i have downgraded my original choices to the third place ties, I now believe Speick to be unbeatable.
Regards Dick.

I used to live near one of Berlin's (and probably Europe's) best equipped shaving stores and was allowed to take home a few products for testing each week-end. Isn't it typical... the number of times I've been to Vienna in the last couple of years not to mention the fact that I was in Berlin a couple of months ago and I have to read this thread after all those visits. What was the name of that shaving store in Berlin BeBerlin? I had to walk half an hour to even find Speick cream.

Oh, that would be The Different Scent. You will not, however, find supermarket products like Speick or Tabac there. TDS stock, to my knowledge, the widest variety of high quality shaving products. The online shop is only about 1/3rd of what they actually carry. And they keep finding excellent new products. Like Kniže, Villoresi, the late Caraceni, Scottish Fine Soaps, Dr K Soap Company and many others. You can find their store here: goo.gl/maps/NdT4E. Mind your head - it's in the basement...

I like Arko & Palmolive as sticks, Palmolive and SuperMax as creams (tubes of), T&H No.10 (in tubs) ... hoping I'll enjoy their Rose in due course, Tabac and Edwin Jagger Mentholated soaps.
But, the one I reach for again and again and again is from an artisan soapal chemist here in the UK called 'Nanny's Silly Soaps' - her Ice & Slice is just gorgeous! Astoundingly good face feel, olive oil based so leaves me silky smooth, skin balanced and in no need of moisturising or toning; it's just right.
