The newer aftershave scents aren't as good as some of the Vintage like, Tai Winds (my favorite), Wild Country or Cordovan. I agree 100% with that. I really like Tai Winds and Deep Woods.

Time to bring an old thread back to life. My Avon thing stated last month when I found a bottle of Brisk Spice and Oland at a local shop. I have posted both of these in various SOTD posts. My latest Avon finds, all full bottles were: 2 bottles of Wild Country And 1 bottle of NOS Spicy I also picked up a NOS of Tai Winds Cologne.

Here is mine. I found this vintage Avon Leather Cologne in a Packard Roadster bottle in a thrift store. It is 6 oz. and appears to have never been used.

I like the clear glass of your Roadster there Jim. Seeing as how you got it at a thrift store I'd bet you paid less then I did for mine. I have gotten all mine at antique shops. Is the cologne still good?

That's what I paid for the last set I got, $5 a piece. At that price point I thought it was worth at least trying them out.

I think the my Capitol Spicy is the oldest, I think. As far as age my guess would be late '70's early '80's. Not sure, just a guess. I would have to do some more digging to give you a better answer.
