Schick Canada- 1937 on razor Hi Folks, So many of us have seen those "1937" Canadian Schicks. I know that a legal battle was fought , I read the case, so why does a 1937 get stamped on them? I just couldn't find it. Also does anyone have a list of production codes for blade magazines and later razors?(yes I've been to the main Schick info page) Thanks in advance!

Greetings
I too am intrigued by these Canadian Schicks. I would like to know if they shave like E's, or are gentler like the G's, they seem a bit of an enigma.
The handles all appear to have a seam on them like USA G's.
The wording Eversharp as well as Schick appears on the back, which, if it was a USA model would discount it being an E and make it a G, or does this not apply to the Canadian Models?
These occasionally turn up on E-bay uk and I quite recently nearly bought one but was put off in case it was really an E in disguise! I love Schick G's but I am not very fond of the E's
Regards Dick

I don't have a Canadian one(yet). Sometimes it seems to me that it's easier to get info about an obscure Gillette than a Schick. To my novice eye the Canadian looks like a G, but I haven't seen enough of them to write it in stone. I will continue researching the hallowed halls of the net in pursuit of an answer. btw US E-bay is a place where they pop up with some frequency. Have a great weekend and enjoy your shaves!
