Awesome! Perhaps this is a bit like what the Gillette NEW was to DEs in terms of design evolution - the "perfect" design was found early on, and from that point onwards everything else was just a variation.
I've got a PAL adjustable to try out, and from what I read, its geometry is different from other injectors, but apart from that they all seem to essentially deliver the same excellent results. The differences in the models are differences in appearance and feel, but the outcome is consistently superior for all of them.
From what you say about the D, it would seem that Mr.Rodriguez was right on target first time, and everything that followed was simply an extension of his original work.
And it's reassuring that we live in a world where your passion for injectors has been rewarded with such an amazing score! I remember you recommending the E to me, and since then I have never looked back...

Bingo! You hit it on the head. Yup I was fascinated with the New design and its' historical design impact. That 's how I think about the D. Yup they sure do deliver and what more can I ask for? And thank you.

Simply stunning, I wish they could manufacture a modern version of this model.
