Damn it! Everywhere I look I see Schick L's for sale ...
Should I buy one? You know me ... I'm not much impressed with Schicks, but keep trying and each time it gets better. I do like the E, the G and the M Dial wide open. I'm getting to like the J and I already have a Stick.
Oh, hang on ...
I've answered my own question. Well, that was fun.
I already have an L.
So, do the regular handle L razors shave the same as the Stick? I rather like my Stick.

A bit like all those 1912s, there seem to be a bit of variation with the L shaves. I have the "scarce type" which is just marked "Eversharp" with a cool Eagle on it. In terms of design it's my favourite injector and it has an elegant simplicity to it, embodying the stripped back ruthlessness of these razors. If Schicks were dogs, the L-1 would be a lurcher! Apparently this was the upmarket version released to coincide with the launch of a new Eversharp blade, and it is noticeably more aggressive than the J, although the other L variants are billed as being the same or milder than the I/J. So it's quite feasible that the Stick, Grip etc might shave slightly differently from the L-1, and somebody here might know for sure.

Thank you ... that is useful to know. I'll have another look in more detail.
