I've read that some shavers like to take blades meant for the Feather Artist Club razor and trim the length to fit a Schick injector. Do any of you have first hand info on this? Is the shave better than Pella/Personna or Chinese Schick?
The Feather blades in question are the Pro-Club injector blades...

Never have done that. But hard to see where they could be better then the china blades. I have some branded by fred's and some branded by Long's. They both shave great for me.

I've heard that the Feather blades are insanely sharp. I guess it's just another case of "pushing the envelope".

Interesting idea, and one that I don't know if I am brave enough to ever try. I see too many unwanted sharp edges and just an overall haphazard setup. Maybe I'm just a sissy. I would rather just save the money and shell out the bucks for the Cobra Classic.

The Cobra Classic is way too expensive for me. I'll try the "Featherjector" approach with my E and G model Schicks just for fun.

As much as I would like to have one of the Cobra Classic Razors, no way I'm going to shell out $145 when I have a whole drawer full of good Schick Injectors. Let us know how the blade cutting goes, and if it works we will need complete step by step instructions so we don't loose a finger trying.
