75 gms with cap, 35 gms w/o. Unlike the piece of junk that preceded it, the H-2 goes after the Women's market big time. I'm sure most of us have seen the ads from the time. Interesting to note the bladew tension spring through thr "keyhole". The super surprise to me was the blade loader. M47!!!!! The year this came out. My birth year! It is also the earliest date , to date, that I have seen. Appleby had a '51 on his dating section. So dat be a piece of the never ending injector puzzle. I'm going to have a friend do a test with it. So here are the pics.

This one certainly is more sturdy than the first model. Looks like a real razor this time around.
These blade/loader injectors have been around for some time. Were there different models then or? Earlier than 1947? What do you mean by the date code references?

On Applebys Schick info page. He wrote of dating on the loaders beginning around 1953. I have one from'49 and now '47. Sometimes this can be helpful in closing in on production year. For the ladies these are the first ones, then later the Lady Eversharp hydros.
