That is really neat!
I've been mulling over a modern single edge razor design and this was pretty much what I came up with myself. My thoughts would be that the handle screws up to hold the blade in tight, even able to adjust the angle of the blade ever so slightly. Does this razor do that, too?

Ooh, I love it!!! It looks like it would be an aggressive or rough shaver. The Sha ve zee looks like it might shave similarly as a Burham. It loads a blade like my Superman. I don't own one but have read much about it. IMO some of the more obscure SE razors don't shave as good as Gem/Ever Ready razors. Nice catch!
Fram, do you know the razor's weight and size?

It is approximately the size of a Damaskeene--81mm to be exact. It weighs 38g compared to the Damaskeene at 52g.

Thank you for the information. It weighs just one gram less then my Star 1902 long wooden handle. Interesting, my scale weighs my OC Damaskeene (hollow handle) at 38 grams.
