Hi everyone, I'm awaiting a Spark razor I got off the bay in a sale together with a Kampfe bros razor. I can't seem to find any info on this one. Can anyone help me out? Thanx alot!

It's French.
I have the Waits' Compendium, which is a wonderful resource for information on razors, but even Waits is very light on this razor - it's French, Kampfe-style lather catcher, two piece handle and takes wedge type blades. Nothing we couldn't ascertain from the picture, other than its country of origin.
There was a Spark De Luxe, which appears to be the same razor as the Spark but in a fancier box.
There are many of this type of lather catcher, especially French and German. If it has blade stops up front, it should be able to take a modern GEM blade. I have an old German 'Comfort' lather catcher, which is a lot of fun. When you put a modern GEM blade in, use the back stop to angle the blade or the blade gap will look ridiculous.
Have fun! It's a nice looker!

Yes, I have an almost identical Bayard lather catcher and, as Paul says, there's lots of very similar models knocking about pre-WW1.
If you have the wedge blades definitely try them (and if they need honing give me a shout!) because using them the geometry of these razors is perfect. They are superbly designed - with a GEM blade they are decent but with the wedge blades that they were intended to be used with these lather catchers give an amazing shave!

Thanks for the quick reply! Unfortunately I don't have any wedge blades, so I'm hoping that it'll take regular SE blades too. If anyone here knows where to get those wedge-style blades, please let me know. I'll definately have to look into those and how to use and maintain them.
