I got my first shave with the ER 1912-14 lather catcher. I blew up the Williams lather but that will happen with sloppy technique. The shave ended up good though. ER shave video

DAMN! That Lather Catcher is so LOUD... I had to turn down the volume of my i-pad so it wouldn't wake-up the neighbors....lol! Definitely from the acoustic era, no amplifier or microphone needed!!
I can tell how fabulous it is shaving, just by watching this...And suprisingly nimble and maneuverable....at least with your LC 'Chops' you make it look very nimble and fast!

Maybe it's the short handle. It seems to just glide around. I imagine you do the same with your bea-u-ti-ful lather catcher.

Gotta love that acoustic razor! Next blade I'm using one of my LCs!
Despite the (according my buddy) ugly and ungainly head on a LC, I find them to be very nimble also. Could it be due to the light weight? Despite the way they look they are quite light.
Fuzzy, you make good videos!

I agree with you about how nimble these are. I think I prefer a lighter razor. They just are easier to get around my mug. The acoustics are a bonus. Break one out and lets see it.

That was a great shave, Fuzzy. Fun video, too. Thanks Jim. Its is basically a short handle version of the 1911 I have, Of course if you did not add the second part of the handle to the Gem it would be about the same. Great fun to shave with.
