Another Warner-Jones on the bay where postage+tax+fees to the UK is well more than the price of the item. I'm out of shaving budget anyway... I decided to add ↪the patent to my collection instead. I didn't realise that the front and back are connected "rotatably", so you can flip over the blade between strokes. Rather clever.

Do not bother using the supplied stone and strop. Make your own and use lapping film. Then just use a Stropping attachment and strop on a regular strop.

The Warner-Jones on ebay right now is $22 BIN. Not too bad... Add $7.50 P&P. Fair enough. No, sorry - I'm in the UK - add $22.50 for P&P.. that's $44.50 Now add 20% tax to that...that's $8.90. We're now at $53.40 Royal Mail want £8, that's about $10.30 just to collect the above $8.90. So my total bill is now $63.70. Almost three times the cost of the purchase. Maybe I'll ask Santa instead...

I use mine with a regular old Norton 4/8 and a couple of natural finishers. I use a book and just the right amount of 3M sticky notes to ensure that the height of the sharpening surface matches the height of the original hone. It is a pleasure to use. +1 on a stropping handle for final finish.
