Good job, Fuzzy. Those razors do shave nicely. I put a bid in on an Auto-strop last year, and I won it yesterday. It should be here by Saturday. It has the strop with it.

Great one Fuzzy! Always was curious about these razors and how they shaved... now I know! Another one to the list. Do you prefer using the Feather blades or the despined GEM?

I have the million dollar set just like that also. I can not remember if mine has the paperwork. We are going to have a Valet shave day soon. Great one Fuzzy! They are cheaper..last longer..and over all are smoother then the Feather I think. That being said they will only work in certain models of the valet.

Shaving with a Valet snd Feather SS blade. I meant to comment on the Feather carbon blades. I too consider them junk. When I got my first Auto-Strop, I ordered a tuck of the carbon blades because the stainless ones were just too expensive for me. Well, when I finally got them and put them in the AS, I was very disappointed. I expected them to be very sharp because of Feather's reputation. I piffed them off and ordered a tuck of the stainless Feathers. Now, they delivered a fine shave. However, they are still too expensive for me. jrshaving.blogspot.com/2016/01/feathers-for-autostrops.html

It is not hard.
