A buddy across the street sent me some samples of Stirling Soaps. I have been reading good things about them so was happy to try it out. This one is called Electric Sheep. Very bright skeeter candle smell. It is a great scent and a great lather. This was the first use but it went well. Let's hear more about these soaps!

I bought some a few years ago when it was only $4. I hated it. It provided plenty of protection but I didn’t like the weird grey gooey slimy lather it produced. The scents where overpowering, It seemed to stick to everything, and the post shave felt like a muted version of an egg facial. Awful.

I have the Margaritas in the Artic SS and it's great. Lathers easily, producing a fine protective lather and is colder than heck. Maybe the early efforts were not so great but this stuff is definetly top notch

I got a jar once but sold it off. I just couldn't get passed the citronella. Though it was one of the slickest soaps I have ever used.

When I first smelled my sample of Electric Sheep I thought “instant PIF” then as I lathered it the scent really grew on me. That coupled with the slickness tells me I’ll probably end up with a full size tub at some point, our skeeters round here have their own runways. 😊

I have heard folks say some things that may be a negative in regards to the soaps, but one thing they NEVER say is that they are hard to lather, or not protective.

Up at our family farm in the Mississippi river delta area in Arkansas, I swear I skeeters are big enough to put a saddle on and ride. Them jokers are HUGE!!! Im suprised the Red Cross doesnt use them to carry blood somewhere after a disaster.
Now in regards to Stirling. I have 2 samples that I am currently using and one that I finished and will not be re ordering. For the price to performance ratio it is outstanding, and for Arkansas based business, I have to support them as much as possible. I also like the fact that whatever you order, no matter how big or small, they always throw in something extra. It isnt expected, but its the little things like that which makes them a great company!

I have nearly 50 Stirling soaps and the Electric Sheep is in the top five of them. It is a really fine shaving formula and very nice family to do business with. I met them a couple of years ago at the Maggards meet----wonderful people.
