Recently i made a comment about some razors that pop up only on the European sites of eBay and how difficult its is for us to get them 'cause the sellers frequently restrict the shipping to their own countries . The original thread from galhatz was about the french Perfecta Lather Catcher, one of those items that have been part of my wish list for quite some time. His pictures made me remember a couple auctions/listings from french sellers with items that "only ships to the metropolitan France"... Merde! Not again! I have missed a lot of things just because of that restriction... ça me fait chier! How difficult could be for someone to create a shipping label online and let the Mail to handle the rest? This particular auction had been listed a couple of times in the last three weeks (and maybe even more in the past) and had ended with zero bids each and every time. So i wonder, why not? Let me contact the seller to show my interest and ask if he/she could send the parcel to Mexico... and Voilà! As easy as that... I received a positive response the next day and i was ready to bid on a lot i eventually won as a lone bidder that included 3 straight razors Fuzzy was here (also unmentionable?), a couple of paddle stroppers, one Brittish TTO unmentionable known the world over, one pack of GEM blades and two cased SE's: the Perfecta and my second L'essor! So without further ado I present to you gentlemen!: the "sometimes you only need to ask" catch of the week!! (i use the japanese censor approach on part of the pics). P.S. From time to time you will receive some answers that will make you feel like you are a imbécile just because you asked something clearly stated on the item description, but do not quit trying!

I know how you feel, amigo. It happened to me many times with US vendors having a lot of razors I was looking for, but not being willing to ship to Italy. And when shipment is available, very often it costs more than the item you are purchasing. Glad you made it!!!!!!

Yes, shipping cost is very high most of the times, last week one italian seller quoted me 47 euros for shipping a 20 euros razor that weighs around 300 gr.
