I made a new home for my newest soap. The Valobra Shaving Soap is a traditional soap made in Italy. I got it in a pif from Petrvs. I am shaving with it this week. It comes in a cardboard box and wrapped in plastic. It is a soft soap. I decided to cut it in half and share it with my son. I took my half and pressed it into the bottom of a small ramekin bowl. It is great for loading my brush. I only load it for about 15 seconds and I get enough to face lather two passes and still have plenty to feed to the drain. It is slick and has a nice mild menthol feel and a light scent. This is a soap that is worth replacing when you finish it up. Thanks, Pietro, for the great gift. This is the half I am giving my son. This is the half unwrapped. This is where I pressed it into the bowl. I made a special lid for this bowl.

You're very welcome, my friend! Glad you like it, I hope your son will enjoy it too

I have almost the same soap. The one I have is the same, except no menthol. Above average protection, slickness, and it is quick to lather up. To me, it has a raw almond smell. I enjoy it much.
