What happens when you cut the guard bar off a G1? It gives a great shave. I bought this in a lot and did not notice it until it arrived. Fun shave.

I agree with Jay'. Very interesting.
It's been quite awhile since I've used a SEvette. I need to remember to do so.
The safety bar is only there to prevent gouges less than 1/8" deep. You hit the nail right on the head. It's all technique that makes the shave, safety bar or not. But there is the psychological aspect to it... "No safety bar! Whatever will I do!??". Once one gets over that hurdle, assuming proper technique, it's just a razor and a great shave. I don't suggest that folks use one to test their technique as I've seen many gents do with the OCMM.

Fuzzy, this reminds me of the time I shaved with the Bunny with no comb. Angle and no pressure... That is the way to do it. I got my Bunny V3 on May 24, 2016. I was going to make it Bunny week next week, but I will be using my new Superior Lather Catcher on 20-23. I decided that May 24 will be Bunny Day for me. I will try to get in a Bunnyvette shave. Maybe I will even make a video. Here is a picture of my Bunny from May 2016. Thanks again twhite for this great razor.

I would not suggest that either. Once you have the technique it is a ton of fun though. Fuzzy, this reminds me of the time I shaved with the Bunny with no comb. Angle and no pressure...
