I know some of y'all are horse brush fans, and while I have only used the Cremo brand horse brush, I recently received a Vie-Long horse brush from a PIF across the street. So far, initial impressions are quite good. Not sure if it will be used in regular rotation, but we shall see. I'm looking forward to using it for the rest of the week to get a good idea of how it performs.

Which model Vie Long? I've used Cachuro, the similar model and the Cremo. All work great. Althoughxl, I'm down to horse brush, the Cremo.

I have a Vie Long Horse hair brush that is a 50/50 mix of mane/tail. Works great but to scratchy for me. So it sits on the shelf, looking extremely handsome but lonely. I wish there was a 50/50 mix of Tail/Silver Tip badger. That would be a great brush I think

I think you have the one with the higher loft. Light color handle and metal top. I PIFed that one to Sir Bird birdlives.
