Yeah, Fuzzy. I call it the Buckethead. It does want to hold water. I too have learned to empty the bucket after rinsing. I don't like the way it loads either. However, after revisiting the ER 24, I find it does deliver a fine shave.

However, after revisiting the ER 24, I find it does deliver a fine shave. You must be a sink swisher like Fuzzy, I never had that problem with it holding water since I rinse it under the faucet. I don't mind the way the '24 loads, it's not tricky like my '14 with those tiny blade stops.

I just put about 3 inches of cold water in the sink, and that is what I use for swishing and rinsing. I do my final CWR from running water, but I use hot water for cleaning my gear.
