Phoenix Shaving | Harvest Moon Kent V8 The New Improved Schick Injector Razor | Personna 74 To my nose, Harvest Moon opens with a vaporous sweet petroleum teetering between creosote and gasoline. This description may very well steer some away, but it artfully achieves this vibe in a very similar fashion of that of classic Fahrenheit. This peculiar fuel note quickly ushers in a faint bit of smoke before becoming less volatile and more metallic. The metal element is that of warm oily steel with wet flinty and graphite notes. This subtle transition all occurs over a period of about 30 minutes before succumbing to a damp earthy fragrance with pleasant judicious fresh tobacco, green herbs, and sweet sun-baked alfalfa that emits a subtle buttery note. I enjoy this middle phase for a good 3-4 hours, at which point the EdP doesn't lose momentum but rather darkens a bit more with rich, dark, wet earth soaked in Dr. Pepper, of all things, along with freshly split resin-weeping wood. This quintessential Fall-themed dry down lasts for about another 3 hours before fading. Harvest Moon begins very industrial, painting an image of steam-punk machinery monstrosities before evoking memories of well-trodden theme park grounds on a brisk cool night and ultimately relenting to a natural warm, grassy earthiness with gentle wafts of cured smoky aromatic tobacco. No idea if I'd like it, but man, I want to smell it. Very interesting description.

That handle is beautiful. Thanks. I thought so myself and despite being a Vulfix.....it's not too floppy. It has become one of my favourite brushes We're on different wavelengths Sorry for not specifying. While I like the brush, the razor handle is something special. I don't see anything new being produced today that is as nice in a pattern like that.

I don't see anything new being produced today that is as nice in a pattern like that. The handle style is very art deco, The chain link pattern was common on GEM and Ever-Ready razors during the 1920's and early 1930's

No shave today , but I did give my brother a 2nd Feather-weight I had and some blades before I pulled him down the rabbit hole with me. Also gave him a few soaps to try as well. Got him and my nephew off the plastic unmentionables since last Christmas . This warms my heart to see 2 more unmentionable users leave the flock and join our fold. Have a great evening fellow shavers. (Fred was here)

Friday's ShaveCold Water Rinse Morning TOST TOST LE TNNSER 3D Gem CS SE CWR Dove Men+Care Post Shave Balm My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Morning TOST Shave Soap face lathered well with the TOST LE Brush. I did two passes with the TNNSER 3D razor with a Gem CS SE Blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Dove Men+Care Post Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Friday 4th October Jayaruh #289 - OSP Vintage Cream - TNNSER 3D - Treet Super CS #1 - Alum - Quorum A/S - Aloe Vera Gel Second shave with the TNNSER 3D, this time with a new Treet carbon steel blade confirms to me this razor is a triumph. Two smooth passes with a few touch ups on my awkward bits produced a flawless finish.
