Cold Water Rinse Van Der Hagen Deluxe Shaving Soap Jayaruh #30RS TNNSER 3D Black/Green CVS CS SE CWR Lucky Tiger AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Van Der Hagen Deluxe Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #30RS Badger Brush. I did two passes and a cleanup with the TNNSER 3D Black/Green razor with a CVS CS SE blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Lucky Tiger AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

November 3rd -- Outstanding 2-pass with just a slight touch-up shave -- I think I may have unintentionally "caught the baby"!!! A great deal of credit to this shave goes to gaw9576 -- thank you, my friend!!! For those who don't know, I had some real difficulty loading my Enders Speed razors using the time-tested method of using blunted Enders blade as a shim for a Proline/Schick blade. I just could not master the technique, and before I could throw in the towel, GAW9576 made a couple of shim-ready-blades-with-JB-weld-blade stops using the jayaruh technique. Then to top it off, he saw me going on about how much I like, but am having trouble finding, rose scented soap; and he sent me an awesome sample of the Cyril R Salter Wild Rose Cream. So today I was able to have one of those shave-perfect days where the razor, blade, and lather all come together perfectly. And while I've only used it once (and it's my first time using a Cyril Salter cream), I can highly recommend it -- outstanding performance and magnificent (natural) rose scent!!!

I'm glad I could help with the Enders blade conundrum. Although I was a little tempted to just talk you into selling me those beauties. And I'm glad you like the Cyril R Salter Wild Rose. It is a wonderful shave cream. You do a lot for the shave community and I'm glad I could send you some.
