I picked up one of the black handled Canadian Model E's (G's?) with the eversharp addition like Sleddog's above.
It is in stellar condition, and I have to say I really like the black with nickel - it looks great in the Den.

I just picked up one of these E/G hybrids off eBay. It has the seam on the handle, and it's light colored. The head is gold color, but smooth. It has the flaps on the spring, but it doesn't feel like it wants to open, like my G1. It says Schick Injector on the spring. Haven't tried it yet, but am looking forward to it.

I have 3 Canadian Schicks and they all have the E type head with the spring that is notched and fits into the tab. The head can be opened, as I have opened each one for cleaning. The spring can be lifted and pushed past the tab and the head drops down. I thought I had found a very rare Eversharp E and would be able to recoup my $4.20 it cost me. Oh well back to the drawing board. Razor 1 has a butterscotch handle no seam and a gold head. It came in a black bakelite case. Schick Injector on the spring. Razor 2 has an Ivory handle with a seam gold head and also came in a black bakelite case. Schick Injector on the spring. Razor 3 has a Black handle no seam and a silver head. It did not come in a case. Eversharp Schick on the spring.
