I think the first shave of the year for me will be all TOST. Morning TOST soap with the TOST LE brush and TNNSER 3D. Probably finish with Lustry Coachman.

Outstanding shave. Instead of the morning TOST I used the Sen-Sen soap by Dan (not Dave) . Loved it. I waited until the 3rd and had a great shave. Feeling veddy nice now.

... I didn't really make much of a connection on the day as days are just days to me, nothing special. I did, however, probably have my desert island shave. Prepare with a good wash with Ach Brito Glyce soap Lather up with Mitchell's Wool Fat and my new(ish) Semogue Taj Boar Ever Ready 1912 (British) & GEM Stainless (fresh blade, at least) Single pass and rinse off, hot then cold Pashana Original aftershave Lovely! The Pashana is really a nice touch. I have a bottle that was gifted to me. I really should use it more.

I rate Pashana up there as one of those defining scents of traditional shaving, along with Clubman, Brut & All Spice. I use the Pashana hair tonic most days, too.
