Well ummmm.... the attachments built up faster then I thought. I will increase the storage in the next few days. I have to be sure the payments are available regular. Just a bit of rearranging on my part. Bare with me !!

Why not just have everyone use a link to post their pictures? This way everyone is responsible for their own storage. Like this;

There are sites specifically for that very thing.
There is one danger though. I used Photobucket for years, then they changed their rules and said that I and many others needed to pay a subscription fee to allow my own pictures to be used where they'd been used in my posts for years. My point is that stored here they are safe into the future. Linked to an independent storage site rules can change and posts that used them no longer have access.

I have not given up. It will be about $760 for the year to add more. So a question for the group. Do we go to third party post sites or delete old pics. I have never liked that idea as it is great to surf through older post. What say the group?

My website server with 20 GB space costs me $3.33 a month. For half of what you'd be paying I'd get 160 GB. That's the problem with ProBoards. Once you're in they got you by the crown jewels. And there is no painless way out.

Let's here what the group says, and we can make a decision from there.

What sort of space would you need to rehouse to move to another server?. Even if it wasn't free....it must be cheaper than that......and I would certainly be willing to contribute something towards costs. That is just daylight robbery.

You can't move your content away from ProBoards. It's against their terms of service. And the price for storage is their business model. You either start a new forum from scratch, leaving your old content behind or... you're stuck and will get milked. 😩

Commies!
Move the old forum into a "new" stand alone forum, and open it back up for actual use.
That would open up space on this one.
Yes, two forums.
