I shave 3/4 of the time with a single edge razor. And 2/3 of those shaves are with injectors. So half my shaves are with the injector razors. I have an Eversharp-Schick G1 and a Stick Schick. Love them both and I get superior shaves with them both. In fact if I had to choose 2 razors that I could not live without one of them would be an injector. I seem to be loving them better than even my sacred lather catcher SEs.
Now can you guys tell me something, am I going mad? I must know. In the meantime I will continue to use the injectors and enjoy them very much. Today it will be the Schick Stick.

I think you're perfectly, well, relatively, normal. I love using injectors, partly because my first razor was a hand me down Schick that I got from my Dad, and also because they just flat out work great. I have seriously thought about selling off a lot of my SE's and concentrating on the injectors more.
If you ever get the chance I'd highly recommend an I type, in particular the I2 Hydro-Magic. They seem to have, at least for me, the perfect balance of efficiency and smoothness.
I also like that I can buy the Schick blades from local stores. I have three within about twenty minutes of my house that sells them, plus a couple more that are a little further away, but in towns I visit regularly.

I had actually planned on not shaving today but all of this talk about Schicks made me change my mind, so I loaded a fresh Chick into an M3 adjustable, cranked it up to max and used vintage Surrey soap for a great shave. A little splash of vintage Mennen Skin Bracer topped things off rather nicely.

Injectors rock! Agreed. Mine says "Schick -Eversharp" on it, so from what I've read it's a newer one. Not even gonna guess at the model or age. Anyway, it's a great fairly aggressive razor in my eyes. Great super close shaves and get around the ears easily thanks to it's svelte and lithe design. Sex-y!
I normally straight shave and use the injector for a few tough places on the neck to just clean up a bit but I do enjoy a good injector only shave regularly as well.
I have the aforementioned injector and 2 or 3 Schick Adjustables also.
I have a head only that says "Schick Injector" on it. Would this be an older one since it doesn't have "eversharp" on it? I'm gonna make an antler handle for it this winter after hunting season. grin.
Thanks Fellas!

I have a Schick Stick that I have never used - and today is turning into the day! I'm gonna shift into high gear and get her done! Will try the Pellas this round. And Bryce - you could be mad - only you will know for sure!! (I am pretty sure I am almost there.)

Not a thing wrong with a Schick shave. I use one a fair amount of the time these days. I still think the SE's are a better shave most the time, but I love a Injector shave as well. To answer the question we are all a little crazy here........ then again we run the asylum so that is ok. ;D ;D
