I tend to prefer a very plain scented bar but I know that there are bazillions of scented soap products available.
Prefer a scent or just going low key?

Just call me a scent whore! I usually have anywhere between 5 and 10 soaps (sometimes more) in my bath at any given time plus shower gel.
That's a common term used among soapers and a positive one. It's what we call our selves, for those who like lots of different scents and can't get enough of them. So don't be offended that I used the "w" word please!

I like a scented soap. But it does not always have to be loud. Currently i have almond and sandalwood sappo hill soaps and a yardleys oatmeal and then a yellow bar from dollar general and a bar of ivory and one of shield in the bathroom.

I generally use whatever I find cheapest as a bath bar, currently I have A LOT of Irish Spring, and our hand soap is a discontinued SBS bar that is superfatted. I have case of that.
But today I removed the SBS hand soap and replaced it with Krissys Coconut milk "Tahitian Waterfall" and I'm lking it- a lot! I hope it's a shower soap, 'cause that's where I plan on using it.

It's an anything you want kind of soap. Great for hands as well as a shower/body soap.

I started using Safeguard in high school 40 years ago and have stuck with it. I've experimented with a few others over the years but always went back to Safeguard. I guess I'm a Safequard whore!

I like scented soaps. Had always used something from the super market, the latest being Irish Spring. But wanted to try out some scented stuff and ended up getting a special order from Krissy. Great stuff, even reordered it until she had her health problems.
Since, found a semi-local place that makes home made scented bath soap and I still have a few bars left of that. But once that is gone it is back to Krissy for my special bath soap which I plan on alternating with my recently acquired bath soap, none other than MWF bath soap. I love that too but it does not have the great scent that I get with Krissy's soap.

I used to use a lot of scented soaps, nowadays I pretty much use unscented during the week and scented on the weekend, mostly sandalwood in winter, coconut/lime in summer.

I use the Palmolive bar that one finds at several of the dollar stores. It's very inexpensive (three bars for a dollar) and I really like the scent - almost reminiscent of cinnamon.

I can't say I have one favorite scent, or even a dozen favorites. I might be easier to say what I don't[/b] like. I'm not fond of lavender nor am I fond of patchouli.

I'm with you in the "spare me from patchoulli" crowd as well Kriisy. Maybe I just get enough of it at the Common Ground Fair.
But I like most scents in a bath soap. It's shave soap where I start to get picky, but the scent is just under my nose, so that makes sense to me.

Don't see anything to be offended about, but I vote for "scent strumpet",there's a distinctly aristocratic feminity about the term... ;D
