This has something I've never seen on a Schick injector so I wanted to add this picture. It has five bumps on the guard bar that the blade rests on.

Pretty much like any other L type, mild but very effective. How does the shave compare with other models?

I have seen these before but never really entertained picking one up. Your comment HT about the handle being gimmicky reflects what kept me from trying one out. It is interesting to hear though that you have found it a comfortable and useable handle. I will keep my eyes peeled now and I am intrigued to give it a try.
Ya know HT - your enabling of my acquisition disorder is really starting to add up on the price scale!!! THNX!! ;D ;D ;D

Sorry Wayne. This is the first Schick Grip I have ever found in the wild and since the price was so low I couldn't pass it up. But yeah, the handle is really very good.

Pretty much like any other L type, mild but very effective. How does the shave compare with other models? Finally got my first injector last week,a Stick Shick. The Chinese Schick blades arrived yesterday, finally got to take it for a spin.Tom's description is right on.Didn't think I was going to like it at first.Seemed like it wasn't performing well, but turned out to be extremely effective for how mild it feels. Effortless....A great shave without needing to pay any attention to what I'm doing.I didn't want to like it but I do.It's a really light razor which I prefer, but almost seemed too light.I really don't like the idea of stocking another type of blade.... Hard to say where I'll end up with injectors, but one thing's for sure,I finally learned why many of you like the way they perform.
