I believe Pinaud puts out a lime AS called Lime-Sec. Anybody tried it? A while back I bought some Col Conk lime AS which worked well but the scent was a bit to candyish for me, kind of like lollypop lime. Does anyone know if the Pinaud is the same?

That's the price I paid for it at a Salvation Army store. I have dozens of full Avon decanters I've picked up at thrift stores. It probably cost more new!

I believe Pinaud puts out a lime AS called Lime-Sec. Anybody tried it? ........ I haven't tried this stuff yet myself. I like the bottle - very barber shop like. I have yet to try other Pinaud products than the Bay Rum, which I like to use once in a while. The vintage Avon Island Lime looks interesting. I guess I'll have to get some sort of lime scent and give it a check.

No problem, I've been shirking my duties also. Still need to get that Musgo and Valet Auto down to you.

Yes!! Thanks for the sample. I've been using it exclusively since I got it. Until I tried this I was using Taylor # 74 Victorian Limes. That stuff is great. It was the least expensive lime AS I could find that didn't smell like "lollypop" lime, that candy smell. ($26.00 for 100 mls.) I'm out of it now. I'm going to get some of this Lime Sec though, I really like it. As soon as I can pry open my wallet wide enough I'm going to try the Trumpers Extract of Limes. In the meantime this Lime Sec fits the bill.

I am its a bit off topic steal but summer is coming and I was thinking to get some Lime AS and Pinaud seems good choice. Any other opinions?

I have just received a sample of Captain's Choice (CC) Lime. CC is known for their Bay Rum, which I really enjoy. CC Lime is also becoming one of my favorites. I would describe it as a fruity lime with a spicy background. It could even be described as a Lime Bay Rum. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys citrus based AS.
