I'm pretty sure I saw a picture of a Shick injector that had a colored handle that was translucent, you could almost see through it. Has anyone seen anything like this? It could be that the handle in the picture I was looking at just appeared to be that way.

Some of the E Types had a translucent handle, they look great. It's one I haven't stumbled across yet but I keep looking.

I have certainly seem them come up from time to time on fleaBay. I would love to pick one up - those handles look fabulous! Even with that handle though it is essentially an inexpensive razor and the ones I have seen on eBay would not be worth the expense once the price and the postage gets paid - particularly up to Canada at any rate.
Always got the eyes peeled though!

I have a G-type with a translucent amber colored handle. According to renaldo.us/SchickRazors.html that would make it a G-6. I like the look and the shave.

This is part of a naming convention he created to put order to the Schick razors he had collected. Please refer to his webpage which is reproduced here in the Schick Injector Razor Identification & Dating sticky. Appleby is the originator of this naming system which continues to be used extensively throughout the razor world.

No..have had it for a while, I didnt notice this thread before so thought I would post a pic. Found this one in the wild...sitting in a razor junk box at an antique store, looked unusual so I bought it for $6

Nice looking razor. Love the shave from those models. I think they are better then the newer ones.

That translucent handle is really, really cool. I also realize that I said that it was an E type that came with that handle, obviously that is incorrect.
