Well gentlemen, it is decision time. While I wait until the glue dries on the 150 brush, I have the 22mm knot waiting for use. I chose three different brush candidates. 1. Another ER 150, but with a much different handle. 2. A Fuller brush with a badger knot given to me by an old barber friend 3. An ER 200T Both the Fuller and 200T brushes do not shed and I use them occasionally. The 150 came out of the gift set as seen here: theoriginalsafetytoo.proboards.com/thread/942/gem-gift-setI have pulled some hair out of the 150 brush, so I believe if I used it, the brush would shed worse than my Bassett hound. Here is a picture of the 22mm knot and the brush candidates. So what are your thoughts.

Tough call, but if you're happy with the 200T and Fuller I'd say leave them alone for now and put it in the 150. I have two 200T's like yours that have very usable original knots in them, one I'm keeping factory stock and the other one is in the process of a makeover.

I agree with Tom, do the 150. That green swirl should shine up beautifully. Will the 22mm knot fit in it?

I agree with Tom, do the 150. That green swirl should shine up beautifully. Will the 22mm knot fit in it? It appears to be a direct drop in, but I will not know that until I remove the old knot. The caliper reading with the hair was the same as the one I just did which leads to believe the 22mm is just fine. Famous last words...

I agree. That black and green will look awesome with a new knot over it.

I absolutely agree with everyone else. Why try to fix 2 brushes that aren't broken? Reknot the one that sheds.
FWIW, I think the handle on the ER 200T is just a superb shape. Simple, classy, graceful, and so practical.
