Hello all , I know I haven't been here long , I know a little of injector's , but , know nothing about single edge blade's or razor's .
Bearing in mind I have tough grey whisker's which blade/razor combination should I be looking at as an introduction to SE shaving ? Some sort of guidance would be greatly appreciated .
Thank you in advance , Derrick

Greetings
Paul at Connaughts is the one and only source of SE blades in the UK. He sells only one sort the GEM Stainless PTFE coated blades in boxes of 100 and in the little dispensers that hold 10 blades.
Any other SE blades have to be obtained from the US with the associated postage costs and the customs lottery! (as I type 18 bucks to post 120 blades!) To be quite fair the blades Paul stocks are the ones most SE shavers prefer; you will sometimes here them referred to as Ted Pella's in the states which is a Laboratory supply company who stock a variety of SE DE and injector blades for tissue slicing in Labs.
If you need some to get you started and some GEM Blue Star Carbon blades (and any razors to try) PM me your address I have several SE's and injectors and it's always nice to see what you like before parting with hard earned dosh.
Regards Dick.

If you don't already have one give the Gem 1912 razor a try it's great for a beginner. The 1912 gives a smooth thorough shave and it's not aggressive. You can find them for a cheap price. IMO this model works well with any type of SE blade (though the GEM Stainless PTFE coated are probably your best bet).
Like Dick and Rich noted check out Connaught's for blades.

Ooop's sorry about that , Regard's Derrick Fixed that for you. I agree with the 1912 recommendation. Also a featherweight is a good beginning razor. The Gem blades mentioned will do you good.

Another thumbs up for the 1912...and the featherweight....although if I had to only use one razor the rest of my life I'd be quite satisfied with it being a 1912... and I just bought some 10 pack dispensers from Connaults a couple months ago...great service, nice price and GREAT product...
