Those two are gorgeous! I'm a huge nut for old Ever-Ready brushes, and those are among my favorites. Exceptional work!

I look forward to seeing the variety of brushes you find and the results after you restore them. Yet another fine job HT.

I'm not especially a "brush man", but these do look like a lot of fun; an attractive pair. Lovely job and wonderful to keep these old handles going.

Thanks! It really is a lot of fun finding and fixing up these old timers. Here's a third one that I found to make up a nice trio of brushes with the same style handle but three different knots theoriginalsafetytoo.proboards.com/thread/1088/rescued-another-neglected-ready

Lovely brushes Tom. I received a TGN 24mm synthetic recently and I'm quite impressed with it. It's not quite as good as the Mühle STF in my opinion but it's pretty good nonetheless.

I might have to try one of those synthetic knots that you talked about.
