For the longest time my goto brush was the black Omega Pro you posted. A great boar brush with a well fitted handle. I am looking forward to hearing how your new one compares.

Very nice! I used my C-MON with the Omega 27mm knot this morning, it is an outstanding knot. I'll be anxious to see what you think of it after a few uses and it breaks in.

I used an Omega 48 for quite a while. I really like it. I'm sure you will too.

I don't own an Omega brush but those two models are the ones I have looked at the most before. Looks like a great quality brush. A boar knot without the fake badger dye job along with the chrome colored handle wow this is giving me brush acquisition disorder. Oh, and I've always wanted that 10098! Definitely, post back a review!

Omega makes a very nice brush. Frankly, I have no idea how they do it for the price they sell for.

Top of the day! Well I used the 48 this morning and was not let down. Superb backbone, fairly soft tips to start(like the 10098 was also) and then the lather. Valobra stick rub it my face, nice mild soapy clean scent, and as I worked the pro lather, the brush lept to life and boom there was that great fat slick I like so much.Couple of drops of water and it really worked that soap and even with a soft top worked at lifting whiskers and was just a fine brush. 2nd pass --Real good. I like to use product so another good lather was achieved. 3rd pass and lots left. No scritchy rubbing, painted well, great flow and a super grip. The handle is larger but no problem and great for face latherers. So in comparison to the 10098(of course ymmv) the 48 is a 155mm howitzer and 10098 a 106 recoiless. After first soak the knot , as measured above the ring, was 29.18 mm. Carried more moist product than the 98(which is no slouch)and less flop.
So if you're thinking about, do it. I recommend this one and the 10098. Looks like these 2 will be at the head of the class for a while.
