So I bought this ole Gem Jr. Bar off of WillyB recently. I have wanted one with the short wood handle for awhile. He got it right off and it came to me in good time. It did not however travel well. Note that the bar does not lay flat anymore. Grrrr. I tweked it a bit and it does shave good now. The bar does not lay flat anymore. Oh well. Life goes that way at times. Thanks to Willy for selling it to me. Attachments:

Aww Maan!! I'm so sorry my friend.....Who's "The Man" at razor restoration?....maybe a beauty such as this would be worth a trip to a real artist at razor restoration ?.... I hope whatever happens you will get great shaves and have a great bonding experience with this wonderful piece of historic functional art....

The way that you have bent it back it should be fine. Snail mail is never perfect I have had a few damaged items from them too. The Gem Jr. Bar is a smooth shaver I know that you will love it.

This is my second one. I have a 1910 that I was given by Dave Irving. He used it in a video. I love the shaves from these things.
