So awhile back I got a Vulfix 405 "Strand" boar brush on a whim, mostly cuz I liked the way it looked and it was on clearance. It has since been discontinued. When I got it in hand, I thought, "Much smaller than I normally like", so I put it on the shelf and have not used it till last week.
I had decided to have a "Boaring Week" of shaves and use nothing but my boar brushes. So out came the VDH, (2) Omega's, WSP and the Vulfix. Working my way thru the brushes I finally got to the Vulfix.
WOW! Small or not the thing is a lather monster! How can such a small brush generate such a great lather? And pretty darn soft right away too. I like it alot
Now the question. Does anyone else use Vulfix boar brushes? If so, which ones and how do you feel about them?
Thanks in advance and enjoy those shaves

I have an unbranded Vulfix VS/3 that I also got as seconds/clearance. It's knot is a lot less dense than my Omega Beehive, and initially I thought this might make it inferior. In fact, it gives really great lather flow and it whips up lather like a whisk. The lower knot density actually improves the fluid dynamics and it too is a "lather monster." I guess Vulfix brushes are full of surprises Injector fever!!

I have a Vulfix 2234 boar that I bought used and same as MJC, I thought it was less dense than I'm accustomed too, but it works great. I prefer smaller brushes, even in my boars, so for me it came as no surprise that small boars work fine. Mine sheds so eventually I'll be reknotting it. That reminds me I should order a boar knot replacement before I need it. Once I do that it'll probably stop shedding and last until I die.
