As I get ready to sell of the bulk of my DE razors, I've won my second SE on the Bay of E. The first was an ER 1912 which was in worse condition than the PIF 1912 I'd already received, so I'm PIFing it. This one is a Featherweight or 'Natural Angle' or whatever they're called but it has 'Star' and 'Made in Gt Britain' stamped inside the head. It's a bit grotty but should clean up. I've seen US GEM Featherweights and an English Ever Ready version but not a Star version. I also wonder when 'Made in Gt Britain' ceased and 'Made in England' began.
I'll post photos when it arrives.

My memory is bad but I think someone else found one of these in the last month or so. Most of us had not seen an FW with the Star branding before. Clean it up and give her a try, you may be surprised. I like aggressive razors but find I still really enjoy using the FW.
