As bought from eBay. Cheap as chips in a tatty, but undamaged wooden box with the internals all intact, the strop and clasp, a wooden box and some blades. First, the razor itself ... What a beautiful work of engineering. Cif 'Grime & Lime', gentle scrub, dry, Peek polish, duster, elbow grease, more Cif, IPA and pat dry ... Not too shabby, eh? ... and with a GEM blade de-spined and corners snipped:

Resurrecting this old post...do you still have it, and how did/does it shave?

Yup! I still have it ... it shaves very nicely indeed. I've yet to put into fluent prose what this razor is all about but I leant it to MJC who reviewed it here. I'd find it if any "search servers" were available.

The shave is unique. It is an adjustable razor actually, the screw in the back extends/retracts the safety bar. I did not try it in all the settings but I got a nice comfortable shave and the rolling-screw safety bar is a nice touch. I didn't come back to it because the head is very bulky and heavy. So beyond the novelty points, other razors shave just as well if not better.
