Bird, Just a little bit of New Year's Eve tradition before Dick Clark came on the scene. From the Grill Room at the Hotel Roosevelt 48th St and Madison Ave in New York City Clairol, the first name in hair color, come Guy Lombardo and His Royal Canadians. You can be assured that my wife and I will be watching tonite. By the way, this was what my parents watched as I was only 9 in 1957 and was in bed by the time the program was on the TV. Enjoy my friend. Watching this is like shaving with a good old fashioned SE Lather Catcher!

I think I must have mild dyslexia because every time I read the nickname 'birdlives' my brain substitutes it with 'Burl Ives'. Strange.

Burl Ives was cool...He rocked a 'Van Dyck' til they came back in style...and in doing so, he did his part in helping save a Facial Hair Art Form from drifting into obscurity..... What a cat...and along with Sean Connery and James Earl Jones, he had one of the most distinctive speaking voices of the last Century...What a cat!

Hey...I remember this from when I was a kid myself....Hmmm...That would make it more like shaving with a good old fashioned GEM Feather Weight...Don't make me older than I am....ha,ha,ha...
